Amanda Roberts

Mrs. Amanda Roberts is co-founder of Avid Core, an award-winning Virginia-based communications and outreach firm. She is a native of Northern Virginia and brings nearly 20 years of experience helping Washington Metropolitan-based organizations achieve their goals through inclusive outreach and communications. Her breadth of experience includes clients in the public, private, and non-profit sections.
She received her bachelors degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Ithaca College. Amanda is also an active volunteer with the Parent Teacher Association of her daughter’s school, Southwestern Youth Association, Girl Scouts of the National Capital Region, and Volunteer Fairfax.

Why TRUE?
The work of TRUE to increase access to affordable, evidence-based mental health resources is so important to building resilient communities. As a lifelong resident of the DC-metro region, I love being able to help my community with these resources. I hope to expand the reach of TRUE and the incredible services this organization provides in preventing and treating trauma in our community.
